Rollbot Pays $1.35 Million For 7 Bored Apes

The Bored Ape Yacht Club has had 35 sales today, their most in over almost a month. As a result, they’re number one by volume at OpenSea — each sale going for over $185 thousand dollars.

Looking at the daily activity, a user named Rollbot has bought 7 apes today alone. This represents 20% of daily sales, for a total of 692.9eth, or about $1.35 million dollars.  Rollbots are NFTs created by Rollbit, which claims to be the first online NFT casino.

In separate news on twitter, BAYC has been actively reposting users getting their first merch drop, which includes sweaters, shirts, hats, keychains, and more, but that would not have affected sales for today nearly as much as Rollbot has.

Additionally, NFTInspect.xyz, a site that bridges the connection between web3 nfts and web2 twitter, reports that in the last day, the majority of users changing their PFPs are coming from Mutant Apes, Azuki, and Moonbirds, respectively.  This may indicate that people in those projects are losing faith in them.

I will post a follow-up report on the Rollbit NFT casino shortly, so stay connected!
